Sage 200cloud: implementing your good ideas

Posted on 25th October 2019 at 13:10

In this post, software specialist Gary Butler demonstrates how you can benefit from the visibility Sage 200cloud provides around its features and updates… and how your great ideas can become reality.

The good thing with Sage200cloud is that there is a clear and defined roadmap for future releases. And, if you’ve seen my article about Sages’ Ideas Hub then you know that you can go to this site and raise and vote for program improvements. But do you know what happens when a really popular request is highlighted to be included?

The Roadmap is available to view by everyone, and is available here: https://my.sage.co.uk/public/help.aspx#/roadmap/sage-200

The site is broken up into three areas: Delivered, Launching Soon and The Future…

When you click on each section of the site it will show you what has already been delivered from ideas raised on the Ideas Hub.

The Launching Soon section includes new features that will be included in the next release of Sage200cloud. With three releases a year, this area is updated quite regularly.

The Future is just that – it features ideas raised on the Ideas Hub that are being actively looked at by the Sage Analysts and sometimes options within this section have prompts for customer feedback. This is a great way for you to provide thoughts on what is being suggested and feedback more detail on what the feature would be or include.

This demonstrates that Sage is genuinely listening to customers and that your requests for additional features are being actioned.

We’d recommend visiting this area to see where Sage 200cloud is going and as an opportunity for you to help improve the accounting program for the better.
