Customising terminology in Project Accounting

Posted on 05th September 2018 at 14:12

Derek Curtis, director of Business Systems at Cellular Solutions, shows Sage 200cloud users how to customise terminology.

Within the Project Accounting module in Sage200cloud, you can customise the way certain terminology is displayed, whether you use a Project, a Job or a Contract.

Within Project Accounting > Utilities > System Setup > Project Accounting Settings > Terminology tab

You can then rename the word ‘Project’ to be something else – ‘Job’ for example. You can also change other terminology in Projects such as Project Items and Quantity. Once you change the terminology and restart Sage, the changes take effect.
