Call Conferencing Options for Cellular Solutions Customers

Call conferencing is a great way of keeping in touch with your colleagues and customers – and it can be very easy to put in place.

We’ve put together this handy guide for our customers who use O2, Gamma Horizon and Microsoft Office 365.

Information for O2 users

O2 Just Call Me

O2 Just Call Me is easy! All you need is your mobile number and there is no need for passwords, PIN numbers or dial-in codes

Participants simply dial your number as usual and if a conference is happening, you’ll be asked to let them in. No-one else needs to have the app, just you. And when it’s time to leave, they simply hang up, just like they would on a normal call.

Organise your calls

With O2 Just Call Me, it’s easy to set up calls and schedule them in your diary. You’ll get an alert when it’s time so you can get ready before your callers dial-in. Choose attendees from your contacts list and they’ll be automatically invited.

Switch between conferences

Need to invite someone else after a conference has already started? Easy! You can simply call or text to invite them in. Then when they dial your mobile number, you can accept them into the call.

Easy Interface puts you in control

O2 Just Call Me’s easy-to-use interface lets you see at a glance which calls are due and who should be in them. You can also lock the call to prevent others from joining and mute a call member (so you can’t hear them) or isolate them (so they can’t hear you).

Information for Gamma Horizon users

Gamma Horizon users can benefit from a range of handy conference calling features.

Standard Conference Calling From Your Horizon Handset

The landlines as standard have a conference button/soft key.

The host calls the first party, they then press the Conference button and dial another user and repeat.  This option only allows up to three users at a time but each user in the office who is dialing in can also bring up to three people, so it ends up like a daisy chain conference call!

Gamma Horizon Instant Conference Group

This option is something you would need to set up initially on the Gamma Portal beforehand. It allows for up to 20 people in any one group and there can be multiple groups, for instance for Accounts, Sales, Admin, etc.

The group is set up on the Gamma Portal with all the necessary contact numbers.  When the Administrator wishes to host a conference call, they log in and enter the start code, then all users in the group are called.

Gamma Horizon Collaborate

Horizon Collaborate is a fully integrated Unified Communications solution offering voice, video, Instant Messaging and multimedia conferencing. All of the services are available from the application. The same functionality is also available on mobile devices based on either Android or IOS.

Horizon Collaborate offers many advanced features including:

Horizon Collaborate allows you to have your own personal and permanent multi-media conference room called My Room. Click on the icon to open up your My Room and you’re ready to start your meeting.

For internal staff, you no longer need to send out pins, codes or plugins, just let them know the conference will be in My Room in your calendar invite. Additional users can be dragged into the conference from your contacts at any time.

Never yell “who just joined?” ever again! You can use Teams calling, Phone System, Calling Plan, or Direct Routing to take the stress out of conference calls.

Never spend time frantically searching-for-files ever again! In Microsoft Teams you can access, share, and edit Word docs, PowerPoint, and Excel files in real-time.
