Sage 200cloud and Bank Feeds

Posted on 28th November 2018 at 10:34

In this Ask the Expert guide, our software specialist, Gary Butler explains how Sage 200cloud can save you time on your bank reconciliation.

A bank feed is an automatically created list of the transactions (spent and received) in your bank account. These transactions can be downloaded into Sage 200Cloud and used to reconcile against transactions raised in Sage 200Cloud.

When you reconcile your bank, if a downloaded bank transaction is missing from Sage 200Cloud, you would have to create these transactions in Sage 200Cloud. However, you can use bank feeds rules to automatically create these transactions in Sage 200Cloud. This saves time entering transactions, and helps you reconcile your bank accounts more efficiently and reduce errors.

Some details on the supported banks and credit cards are included in this Sage article, Sage 200 Bank Feeds – Supported banks and credit card companies.

If you are using Sage 200cloud and are interested in receiving these new features, or are using an older version, please contact Cellular Solutions to see how we could help.
