Samsung Galaxy S tablet software

Posted on 24th November 2016 at 10:31

The Samsung Galaxy S tablet software has now been unveiled following the launch of the device yesterday. The third and final part of this blog focuses on the Samsung Galaxy S tablet software and additional features.

The Samsung Galaxy S tablet software is the one of the key areas where Samsung can differentiate itself from other tablet devices.

The new Samsung Galaxy S tablet will run on Android 4.4 KitKat, however the Samsung Galaxy S tablet software will also include a full makeover and Samsung user interface, offering many of the features that make the Samsung phablets and tablets appealing. For example, its split-screen skill.

In the new Samsung Galaxy S tablet software, the Gallery and Flipboard-powered Magazine interface are split in the background, with a phone overlay showing an incoming call. This will allow users to take calls on their tablet, allowing Samsung to tie Galaxy Tab and smartphones closer together.

One of the most impressive features of the Samsung Galaxy S tablet software is Samsung’s refreshed SideSync app, which allows a Tab S to communicate with a nearby Galaxy S5 over Wi-FI Direct. This will allow users to be treated to a realtime replica of their phone on the Tab S screen, so they can swipe away on Tinder or transfer files by dragging and dropping. The usual slew of security-focused apps and Galaxy giveaways are still present and accounted for in the Samsung Galaxy S tablet software, so users will find plenty of familiar bits if they are moving to the Samsung Galaxy S Tab from another Galaxy gadget.

The Samsung Galaxy S tablet software Tab S will have a low power mode – just as the SGS5 does – as well as the Wi-Fi Booster function that will allow downloads to use 4G and Wi-Fi together for maximum speed.

There are many other features of this device, which are detailed in parts one and two of this blog.
